The Phoenix Inn is a traditional pub in York, England, that offers a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Steeped in history, It is the last surviving pub inside the city walls to serve the cattle market that was held on Fishergate Bar until 1827.
The no nonsense pub has no TVs, juke boxes or gaming machines, but it has a log fire, a beer garden and live jazz music. The Phoenix Inn has a well stocked bar and serves a range of beers, wines and spirits, as well as snacks and sandwiches.
It is open from 2pm to 11pm on weekends and from 3pm or 4pm to 11pm on weekdays. The popular pub is located on George Street, near the city centre and the river Ouse.
